Should I upgrade to Barclays Additions Active account? I recently had an assistant Barclays looks to me to upgrade to the Barclays Additions Active account for £ 15 a month. It should pretty well but I'm not sure if it's too good to be true. It would be a joint account which means that me and my partner can benefit. We currently pay £ 10.99 per month for the team to heat (Baxi) for the protection of our boiler and I pay £ 4.99 per month for the mobile so that we will not be charged extra and we get greater protection for £ 15. However, I am a little doubtful.
Our boiler / central heating protection is covered by Baxi (decision makers) and they are very good and reliable, they are quick to react and come out as soon as you suspect a problem. Barclays Home SOS is included with the account additions cover the central heating boiler, plumbing, electrical etc. Sounds like more for the money but I read some bad reviews and I fear that the protection of the boiler not as complete as my course with Baxi. The literature on this subject is a bit short.
Mobile phone insurance is better than my current as it does not actually "lost" phones.
Travel insurance that comes with Barclays Additions Active is useful this year as we go on (the first time in 5 years). Maybe not so useful in the future. We will not board a lot
RAC cover included ... so we have both 09 and 59 reg cars so it is unlikely that we will benefit. Over the two cars have 1 year free cover drive that came with the purchase.
Is it useful? My concern is that my coverage of the current boiler was first class and is probably one we will use more than the Combi boilers can be capricious.
The opinions on this? Which was with Barclays additions and what are your views?

Sounds a good deal, but check the fine print or ask the
Guy right to say.
"Is my boiler covered as soon as I sign with you"
well you get the idea check it carefully before signing
and ask your partner if it seems OK
And the other thing is whether you are satisfied with the deal you have now
so why change.
