Astute Student Loans

If so how do you think of their use and what do you thinknabout their interest rates? If you do not like the lender, please state why and who would you recommend?

Frankly, there is nothing special Astute. If your credit is good or if you have a cosigner with good credit, you can certainly do much better than their rate of LIBOR + 3.5%. For example, the loan from the Citizens Bank of undergraduates by TERI is LIBOR + 2.8% (which makes the current rate of 8.13% approximately). For next year, Sallie Mae offers rates as low as Prime - 1% of their loan signing (which makes their rate of approximately 7.25%).

In addition, Astute does not offer a grace period or any reduction in interest rates for students who have their monthly payments automatically deducted from their bank account. Most lenders offer up such things. I like the following private loans:
