No FDIC insured, for sure. You can find CD rates (as well as checking, savings, etc.) on www.bankrate.com. Currently the best CD rates that are about 5% for a 5-year CD.

Good luck finding that in this market. About 4 would be better if you can I think.

Stock Savings (S & L) tend to have higher rates than banks CD.
