I plan to 10K in a high yield savings account for about 5 years and adding 1,200 / year. Who has the best rates and most reliable?

Currently the rate is higher eTrade Bank. I have money there. But with interest rates about to take another cut, which may change. See also IndyMac Bank, and INGDirect Emigrantdirect ... but all are less eTrade now.

the best rate I found was credited to my savings account, but ING Orange savings account rate is good. Check http://www.ineedrates.com

My friend uses Charles Schwab. I do not know if she has savings, but I know he has a high yield account. they are very good for him so you might want to check Em Out.
