Business Bank Account

I want to close my business is a limited liability company, no employees, except that I am a director, not debt. We are VAT registered, but havnt trade for the last 3 months. I know I must complete a form downloaded from the Companies House. but what I do with my business bank account? I have a few hundred in my business account, can I remove them? How so I advise HMRC to close my business?

When I sold my company advised me to keep the business bank account opened in recent months. You must notify the public of VAT so they can send you a final statement. You write to HMRC details of your business by telling them that you have stopped all activity.
You must keep your accounts and paperwork for 7 years you can be invesigated at any time.
