MarketplaceCredit Card Debt AgencyPosted on January 25, 2010. debt credit card given to an agency credit card? I just received a notice from NCO collections which have been assigned to collect for my credit card debt. I must admit that I have not been good at communicating with my card company. Is there a possibility that I can try to resolve this with the credit card company or do I now go by NCO? From what I've seen online about this company, they are one huge pain in the ass to try to solve. Unfortunately, once an account is assigned to a collection agency, this means that the credit card company has tried everything and could not get the problem solved. They use the collection agency as a last resort. Looks like you have been irresponsible, and now you have some responsibility. You'll have to deal with NCO, your debt has probably accumulated a lot of expenses, and now you have an account collection on your credit file. Your score will drop, and you will be refused all requests for new credit. You can adjust that account for 50 or 60 cents on the dollar. pick up the phone and call ur credit card company ... explain what is going on, they may or may not work with you .... all they can say is no It depends on who owns the debt. If NCO has purchased, you have to deal with them. If the bank still owns the debt, but called NCO to call you, you can send money to the bank and / or NCO. (The bank will not answer your questions once they have delegated the process of NCO.) CommentsThere are no comments.Leave a Comment | Newest My Friends |
