Debit Gift Cards

I forgot to take my wallet on the washing and it was obviously washed in my jeans. The money is still there, but I lost a check. I wondered if my gift and debit cards are still ok?

Just do not get dirty wet card gift or debit card. The magnetic field of the engine, however, is another story.
Provided you can still read the numbers on gift cards, even if the tapes are discarded mag site, you can still use them. The only way to know if your debit card is in ruins is trying to use it.

Just the washing machine does not ruin their cards or mag stripes. The dryer the other can.
