Electric Orange Checking

Why can not I open an ING account controlled by himself without having to connect to a previous checking account?

The Electric Orange account control is a checking account online. You must have a non-related online because you can not walk into a branch and make deposits. You make a deposit from your regular bank, BofA say, then transfer the money from BofA in the ING account. In fact, your first transfer is how you set up the account.

I do not have control of Orange, but I have the Orange Line Savings ACCT. The minimum deposit on both accounts is only $ 1.00 I believe.
