I'm drowning in debt from credit card and I'm looking for help other than bankruptcy

If you do not own a house, credit counseling can help, but you may or may not be able to buy a home until it has been fully paid. Some lenders will still consider it a risk and a bankruptcy. But you should not have much of a negative impact on your credit card with a bankruptcy.
