Generally, you are looking for stocks with greater volatility than you can find. There are screens available via Yahoo to help them identify. If you have the choice between a large cap and small cap, large cap chose.

Looking at the names you listed - Start by hitting the banks. You will not get the performance you need quickly. Yahoo to Knock. Following the offer MSFT, the price will be stable for months. Look for more emerging market equities. Countries like India and Brazil will be particularly volatile in the coming weeks. Petrobras and Wipro are also two names to consider. Throw in some small oil drillers and commodity plays. There are many in the U.S., but Australia and South Africa will play the even more volatile.
