High Interest Online Accounts

I'm looking for an online savings account high interest. So far, it appears that HSBC Direct has the best rate, no fees or minimums etc. It looks like a bargain. Just looking for advantages and disadvantages of these accounts - if there are negative consequences that I should be aware of especially on access to money in the account. Thank you!

I have not had any problems with online savings account. It is FDIC insured up to $ 100,000, which is peace of mind. Just look at the transfers between your account and hooked savings account. Always be sure to make the transfers in time enough to fit through the planning for the longest period of time it would take if there is a problem.

I'm with ING and really count. Their savings account allows you to create sub-categories to move money in, which really helps me keep my budget organized. I provide a link to my experinece with ING under sources.

Just be aware that the interest can go. It could be an introductory rate to encourage you to register. The United States of fine print that the interest rate can change at any time. I signed up for an interest of 5.0% for a money market account, ie 2 months later it reduced to 2.5%. Deception.
