I used to use eTrade, but fell in the interest of 3.3% to .75%. I prefer a place where money can be immediately transferred to a brokerage account.

Note that some, like INGDirect have high rates, but have no control and a bit clumsy with their interface (no ATMs, 2-5 day delay for deposits / withdrawals).

TDAmeritrade and E * Trade have sides and brokerage, but may or may not offer the best APR.

Remember to check your local regional banks and credit unions, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Bankrate is the first place I'll see the best rates .... The last time I looked GM Bank had the best rate. They are FDIC Insured.
