Clearly spend standing orders and direct debits 2 Otha acct. Soz if this Confusin advice but accepted with gratitude that r HSBC do head in Costin and a fortune ... BEEM Ombudsman informed of the charges & V is useful. Please no "wise" they reply in this r sh ** as I got 2 butterflies HAV 5 work stoppage and was the ssp.

Depends how your credit rating with the HSBC.
Providing your opinion is still reasonable, then yes, you can open a second account, sit down with the bank and explain what you do and why.
As long as you manage your accounts in a reasonable manner, you can have as many accounts as you like.
I have two accounts with HSBC, the salary is in one the most, then was transferred to my account invoices second (which I left running on its own with all the bills on S / O and SD).

I worked in a bank in the U.S., but I'm sure the rules are almost the same. At my bank account if a bad rule, no, they will give you another account and you "pay" another time, especially with the amount of money you are exposed. If you leave the account for too long they will put in collection, which will have very negative consequences for you. At least here in the U.S., if this happens, al other banks may refuse to grant a new account until the debt has been paid and you've had an account in good standing with the originating bank for at least 2 years.

The best thing to do for you is to talk to your bank manager and see if you can establish some sort of agreement. In some cases, my bank manager would reverse or cancel charges for customers.

If you can, you'll want to stop such direct deposits, because all they will do is go to pay the overdraft and the bank will not refund money for you to live.

Not really help, but I have the same problem with HSBC - if you have a managed loan (overdraft) with them, they are not normally extend more facilities for you.

Most banks will allow an unlimited number of accounts (within reason) or you can open a new account with a different bank anyway because you can move money between accounts using free internet banking and HSBC sucks anyway

PLEASE get the appropriate assistance of credit counseling - I know they have something like that in the United Kingdom as they do in the United States.

Here in the U.S. - if you're serious overdrafted, you will not get credit any more, and if the debt remains unpaid for months too many (and not the payments are made), while Bank can go out and take legal action against you to pay this debt - and they will.

You must look at all the expenses you made and restructuring - restructure your debts to live below your means and start paying off the debt you have. Look at the basics - housing costs, food, clothing - Power to stay warm and lights on - after all - TV, etc. - so there is much that can be sacrificed in the short term to repay the debt that will not so difficult to treat without.

I seriously doubt that the bank will allow you to open another joint account, and other banks are not going to suggest you open accounts with these serious problems at the moment.

PLEASE help your finances - Here in the U.S. - not even churches offer financial advice services - So that may be a place to turn to for help. Get your finances straightened out, and abandon the short term, these luxuries that are not usually necessary for life.

Why not?

Bank will examine your past and if you had fees they W.
