Money Market Mutual Funds

Hello there ... Assuming we get the same return (before tax) money market mutual funds and online savings accounts, is there any advantage of one over the other? For example, the tax treatment of different earnings? In addition to the information, if you can refer to an article / publication, it would be too gr8. Thank you in advance for your help!
