Request credit card before or after NEW checking account? I have already established an account with a credit card the same bank. I am not satisfied with the service I received with them and I plan to go to another bank.
Before closing my account, I would like to know do I activate my account with the Bank and now a new card application when the account is established?
Or should I apply for a credit card before I start the new account?
My concern is closing my current account and a checking account from new with a new card would not look favorably for my credit. However, the audit would be starting a new account first make approval easier since I have an account with the new bank?
Start with the first check. So you are a customer and they will love the addition of services.
Or when you go to your new bank, you can ask questions on a credit card while you are opening the check and let them know that you want to transfer a whole. In this way, they know that you will replace a credit card instead of adding a new one, which can make a difference.
This is what I recommend.
Opening and closing the audit has no impact on your credit history or score.
