Online Bank Current Account

I want to open a bank account JUST to use for online transactions, such as use for ebay etc., so that's separate from my savings account is in. But there will be no money in it too, just Incase it is pirated or fruad etc, most of the problems he keep 20 pounds and keep it in mind as and when I need. What type of account would be ideal for this? I'm looking in the right direction, a current account online?

Also, nobody knows if its possible not to overdraft, just in case if someone did hack, and the overdraft limit widraws id be stuck up sort the mess! So if there is no overdraft limit, they can not take more than there is in there, which is not much anyway! And which bank you say is the bank most secure and reliable to go with this type of account?

I tried to visit a few banks, they blimin wouldnt let me leave without trying their best to open an account all that day! Thank you very much!

I am with Alliance and Leicester, and very happy with it.
Always have some 100 in it and never a problem.

For security, most banks now offer you some security and protection, but you may have to pay for it.

It is worthwhile, as someone recently cloned my cedit card, and tried to withdraw money in China (never gone). Thank you for that security, my credit card company called me to ask, and because it was not me, I am not responsible for anything. It was a relief.

Ditto for overdrafts, you can choose not to have.

Why not just use a PayPal account, it does what you want, I have not had a problem once in 5 years and you can transfer money as and when you need it

Halifax is good and they have one thing you can put on safety when buying online
