Citibank or PNC? I am currently looking for a savings account. I was wondering which of these banks is the best for the expansion to a current account with a Visa card in due course. I am also looking for the bank with the best interest rate CDs and savings accounts. Thank you!
First, check www.bankrate.com for a comparison of current bank CDs, checking and savings rates. Check them out online because I found several banks that offer higher CD rates and money market account in the opening line from person. (Ig etrade.com) In fact, now my personal checking account interest income is higher than any new CD or savings account that could be opened. You may want to consider other ways to generate interest because the rates are soooo bottom right now.
