Poor Credit Current AccountsPosted on January 20, 2010. Do banks offer current accounts curr persons with very poor credit history? Do banks offer current account facilities to customers in the United Kingdom who have very poor credit ratings. Just with all basic banking credit, overdrafts or credit cards. Go to Natwest, and ask for a step current account (do not get a savings account that you need to maintain a minimum balance of £ 50 to keep the account open). DO NOT GO TO NATWEST - they are shit! Flag I have one with the Woolwich and my credits second horse, do not go near them dodgy 'give 50 quid and we'll get an a / c companies, they usually do fcuk all Yes, as long as you do not have all the accounts charged off. Even if you have an account charged off you can get a "secure" account at certain banks in which you are given a period (usually 6 months) to pay all accounts charged off at other banks, but if you do not comply, they will close your account. They usually have strict limits, too .. As there may be a monthly fee, they can exert maximum ownership, and there may be a limit to how much you can withdraw at an ATM or use the outlets. Here in the UK there is something called the "basic bank account" for this purpose. If you do not already have a bank account then it is stipulated by law that all banks and building societies have to give you a basic bank account which consists of a payment card that you can use at the ATM but not as a map DBiT. It is up to you to build your history with them. ie if you get your salary PAI in. CommentsThere are no comments.Leave a Comment | Newest My Friends |
