Swiss Bank Account

I need major help Swiss Bank or banking professionals. The story goes like this ... My father was in the ship engineer worked abroad from 1960 to 1970 while on the job, he opened an account in Switzerland. The information was said to my mother and her friend, but not elaborate, she is still alive, when we called the Swiss bank in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong (usually hiked these countries, which appears on your passport ) they told us that we have to give some form of information in terms of number of accounts or nickname they normally use to open the account. We have all the details in terms of port Pass, wrote the newspaper in which many details, but we do not know that detail account in Switzerland.

Can you help me how to trace lost account details, I am his son. Thank you for your help .......

I suppose your father died? You do not mention it.

If he is really dead, and thy mother paperwork to prove she was married to him, she must show that all the paperwork and "inherit" property. The bank can not keep his money after he died.
