Cash Britons switched current accounts The site MoneyExpert.com said that last year more than 3.6 million people in the United Kingdom have changed provider account, which breaks down to about 300,000 switchers per month! These figures indicate that people are willing to change banks if they are dissatisfied with their current accounts. Current account providers are aware and now offer more features and incentives to new customers for them to make the transition.
In the past, people have simply chosen the bank that was closest to where they lived or worked. With the population and increases the surface area of the city in recent decades, trends have changed bank selection as people became more mobile and moved further from the city centers and workplaces.
Now, however, people no longer limited to the bank in their village or in the nearest street high. Ultimately, if you are not satisfied with your current account, nothing prevents you from looking around other choice. The banks have wised up to the needs of their customers and offer some great add-ons on the accounts in case of failure, and even travel insurance. It certainly pays to browse around and choose the best for you.
